DEMONSTRATION OF THE POWER OF GOD
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God,” (1 Cor. 2:4, 5).
Christians have direct access to the power of God. Sadly, much of the power is squandered on Better Homes and Garden or Disney World type of Christianity. Jesus fully intended to leave a militant church so that His people could evangelize the world for souls.
We are living in treacherous times. Nevertheless, it is also a time for great Christian witnessing because of the tremendous darkness that has spread across the world. We are surrounded by the enemy and infiltrated by New Age doctrines camouflaged in Biblical language. We must be a vigilant, but Word enlightened church.
