 Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God
and man, (I Tim. 2:5). His mission was fully accomplished. He is in full
control and is exalted to the Father’s right hand. He is the Master with almighty
power. Jesus came to defy the power of Satan, Acts 26:18. He challenged the
rule of Satan, (Col. 2:10); conquered the right to dominion, (Col 2:14,15). He
set us free from the cause of sin, (I Pet. 3:18). He can set us free from the
curse of sin, (I Pet. 5:10:1).

POWER OF PENTECOST

Early in this century, Mrs. Jesse Penn-Lewis noted, "It
is clear in Bible history that the manifestation of the power of God in The
Pentecost, and through the Apostles, meant again an aggressive attitude to the
powers of Darkness. Therefore, the growth and maturity of the Church of Christ
at the end of the dispensation will mean the same recognition, and the same
attitude toward the Satanic hosts of the prince of the power of the air, with
the same co-witness of the Holy Spirit to the authority of the Name of Jesus,
as in the early Church. In brief, that the Church of Christ will reach its high
water mark, when it knows how to ‘bind the strong man' by prayer, ‘command' the
spirits of evil in the Name of Christ, and deliver men and women from their
power.  [i]

The entire world is under a curse for its rejection of Jesus
Christ; salvation through Jesus Christ demolishes the curses under the Law. Why
do we pray for the curses to be broken over a person’s life after they receive
Jesus? We do so because demons are the agents that bring the curses down the
family lines. Jesus drove the demons out of Mary Magdalene and then she was
able to serve Him for the rest of her life.

 "I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth," (III Jn. 2).The Bible shows numerous curses and blessings. The curses are enforced upon a person who disobeys God's commandments and laws.

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” (Jer. 17:7-8).

HEALING

"In Roman mythology, Aesculapius was the god of
medicine. His symbol was a staff with a snake coiled about it. According to the
legend, he had received a healing herb (drug) from a serpent's mouth.  The connection between the serpent and
sorcery pharmakia in the Greek New
Testament) has continued to the present day. Aesculapius' staff now has not one
but two serpents coiled around it in the familiar and honored emblem of modern
medicine. The tradition behind this symbol is kept alive by the medical
profession. Though the name of Jesus Christ and prayers to God the Father has
been excluded from our schools, at the time the doctors receive their M.
D.  Degrees of medical colleges,
graduates still repeat in unison the ancient Hippocratic Oath which begins: "I
swear by Apollo the Physician, by Aesculapius, by Hygeia, Panacea, AND ALL THE
GODS AND GODDESSES."
