A double minded man is unstable in all his ways,? Believers must accept God's call as representatives of God. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.? Tearing down of Strongholds/Dr Pat Holliday/Dr Sabrina Sessions/Marshall Perot 04/29 by Dr Pat Holliday | Religion Podcasts: The tearing down of Strongholds A stronghold is deception that's taken hold in a person's mind. It's an incorrect thinking pattern based on a believed lie. People can get incorrect perceptions of God by listening to Satan as he tells them how God doesn't love them, etc. People can feel like dirty old sinners when they believe Satan's accusations as he continually reminds them of their past (which has been washed away!). Strongholds are based on lies from the devil. They can come in the form of deception or accusations. Accusations always lead to guilt and the feeling of unworthiness, which weighs you down and tears you apart spiritually. If the enemy has been feeding us a lie, we need to stop eating the lie and start feeding ourselves the truth. The weapon we use to tear down strongholds is found in Ephesians 6:17, '...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.' A sword is an offensive weapon and is meant to tear down and kill the enemy's troops. Strongholds are the devil's assets in war, and he uses them against us. Take up the sword of the Spirit (God's Word) today, and start slaughtering the enemy's assets that he's been using against you! The teaching on Strongholds will give you a much better understanding of how strongholds work and how to tear them down. Satan the god of this World The Devil doesn't need to attack those who are lost because they are headed for destruction and they are already on the broad path that leads there and many, not a few, are going down that path (Matt 7:13-14).

The Bible is clear that this is not a battle which is fought on a physical plane at all, but rather a spiritual one: Ephesians 6:12, 'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.' Who are those principalities, powers, rulers or darkness and such? They all stem from Satan's kingdom, but since Satan is not omnipresent (can be everywhere at once), he works through a network or an army of demon spirits. When a person says, 'The devil is on my trail!' it is highly unlikely that Satan himself is assigned to the job, but rather one of the troops in his army, which would be a demonic spirit. Spiritual Transformation A spiritual transformation from knowing God and turning to the powers of the Devil and his motivations to live by a person's fallen flesh and nature has great significance over their life-forces. Their mind is changed and a spiritual makeover occurs; the mind experiences a complete alteration. The Devil takes control of their lives.
