AUTHORITY AND DOMINION - "And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail..." (Deut. 28: 13)
PROSPERITY - "The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto..." (Deut. 28:8).
BLESSINGS ON THE FAMILY - "Blessed shall be...the fruit of thy body..." (Deut. 28: 4).
VICTORY OVER ADVERSARIES - "The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face..." (Duet. 28: 7).
When Christians are called kings, the Scriptures include both what they actually have in this world, and what they have in a future state. The reward which our Lord Jesus promised to his disciples was a kingdom:
“And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me. Christians, having this promise, are therefore heirs of a kingdom here, which they are hereafter to receive, (Lk. 22 :29).
“Hearken, my beloved brethren; hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him,” (Jam. 2:5)?
